blood blisters in mouth??

by pb1322, Jul 08, 2004 12:00AM
recently i have getting what looks like blood blisters on the insides of my cheeks.  they look like a blood blister you would get on ur hand or something. they dont hurt at all.  I get one or two like every 2 weeks or something.  i have been just squeezing them and a little blood comes out.  after i do that, they go away in a few days.  So i am concerned on what could be causing these things.  i have heard oral herpes doesnt really affect the inside of the mouth.  plus, they dont look like herpes sores.  i thought they look like canker sores with white centers and red ring around that.  these are just little red dots a little under the skin i think. they seem to occur around the back of my mouth where the back teeth are.  dont they occur too often to be oral herpes??  there isnt any tingling before they show up either.  they just pop up. anyways, what are probable causes for these red "blisters" in my cheek linings? i need to know.  thanks.

Herpes does not usually affect the inside of the mouth, as you say.  Canker sores are painful, which it sounds as though yours are not.  I am therefore not sure what these are.  I am sure that squeezing them till blood comes out is not doing you any good.  I advise you to leave them alone and show an untouched one to a dentist or oral surgeon.  These certainly don't sound serious or sexual.  Have someone look, since they are worrying you.

Best.

recently i performed oral sex on this girl and a few days later perhaps by coincidence i felt a little bump on the inside of my cheak with a little white head on top of it.  it did not hurt at all and would not have noticed it if i didnt feel it with my tongue.  I also wouldnt have payed any attention to it if i didnt have oral sex with a girl a few days prior.  I efortlessly popped the white head with no pain and remained what looked to be a canker sore.  About a week later the white head popped up again, i popped it and seconds after i popped that it popped up again except instead of a white head there was blood and i popped that and squezed a very little amount of blood out.  It doesnt look like the herpe pictures but i just want to make sure. It is located on my inner cheak and when i spread the skin its a little smaller than a eraser head on a pencil.  If it were herpes wouldnt it hurt and doesnt herpes usually not form on the inside of the cheak.  Please get back to me and thankyou.
