blood test results-alopecia

Thankyou for your reply to my question about my daughters alopecia areata - it was very helpful.(24.02.01)
I wonder if you could help me make sense of her blood test results, and tell me whether you think they are related to the alopecia. TSH was slightly raised but TH normal. Alkaline phosphotase was slightly lower than normal range. Zinc was slightly low, too. She has not been dieting other than the odd few days cutting down and she eats proper food (not too much processed etc.).All other liver ,renal, blood cell screen ok.Periods fairly regular but painful with nausea & faintness on day 1. Thankyou in advance,

In the medical universe, there's a kind of moral law, which goes like this:  if doctors do a battery of blood tests for no particular reason, one or more results is likely to be off, requiring more blood tests.

Kidding aside, ask your doctor, but I doubt these test results have any significance, concerning alopecia or anything else.  For localized patches of the condition--the most common form--I don't recommend any testing at all.

Best.
