broken blood vessel

I have broken blood vessels on my face that are rapidly increasing. Some are faint dots or lines, but others are bright red marks. Every week I see more. Is there anything I can do to stop this? Could they be caused by wearing eyeglasses that put pressure on my bridge? I am 35 and do not drink or take medication.

The Photoderm laser is an excellent treatment for rosacea and broken blood vessels.

Loni:

blood vessels--dots and lines--are common on the faces of fair-skinned people.  They appear at any age, but become more visible with the approach of (sorry) middle age.  As to their "rapid advance," I suspect that you have begin to notice them, and so they seem to be galloping along.

I suggest you see a dermatologist.  About the only condition possibly relevant is rosacea, a skin issue not a systemic one, and even that may not be relevant.  Treatment may consist of applying a topical cream or lasering away the vessels (easy and affordable.)

Best.
