brown patch in torso/waist area

I have a brown stretch of about 8-10" in lower torso and now getting in inner thigh near crotch.  VERY concerned, Any cream that can bleach skin?

When have you noticed this brown patch of skin over the torso?

Has this developed abrubtly or gradually?

Is this flat or elevated?

Is this area itchy or painful?

Are there any visible lesions in the area ? Any ulcerations or vesicles that are present?

Firstly, it is important to have this evaluated by a dermatologist. Bleaching creams may contain harsh ingredients that may further irritate the skin.It is best to have this assessed first. If this is a dermatitis or an allergic reaction, then bleach creams are not advisable.If this has been a result of repeated scratching and itchiness over the area ,then consult your physician first before applying anything.This may be a fungal infection given that it has continually spread into the inner thigh.
