I saw a dermatologist once for these. He said it wasn't staff which was good but told me he wasn't sure whatit was. He wanted me to come in for a biopsy the next time I had one. I got one and called and he had retired. I have them all the time and would like to know what they are too. The scars left by them are worse than my gallbladder surgery scars. Seldom do they break the skin but it does happen. I don't usually notice until it has drained onto my clothes.
I get these every now and then too. They are painfulPainful menstrual periods and sometimes I can pop them but mostly just leave them alone and they go away in about a week. But I would like to know what they are and how to prevent them. They ALWAYS occur inside a stretch mark. They don't seem to be harmful, but they are unsightly, and they hurt.
