bump on nose

by SA, Sep 12, 2001 12:00AM
A small portruding bump about a half centimeter in diameter appeared what seemed suddenly on the end of my nose about 4 to 5 months ago.  It doesn't portrude very much at all and doesn't itch and is the same color as the rest of my nose. It seems to now just be a part of my nose yet I don't understand how I got it.

I am wondering will this go away or will it develop into something bigger. Right now its just noticeable enough that if I look in the mirror I notice that there is a bump there.

Thanks

Someone will have to look at this to be sure what it is.  You may be describing a flech-colored mole or perhpas a clogged pore.  No specific cause brings such things on, though they aren't dangerous.  I suggest you leave the bump alone--don't rub or pick at it--and show your doctor.

Best.
