bump on shaft of penis.

there is this odd bump on the shaft of my penis that is reallllly freaking me out... it looks like a bump thats about the size of a BB, and when messed with, it becomes red. it doesn't have a head like a zit or anything, but when i squeeze it, there is what seems to be the inside of a pimple coming out. i was looking at it today when i realized i have absolutely no feeling in the effected area... is there anything this could be, other than a big penis zit or something?

thank you so much, this is much more in depth, but should i seek medical attention? this has been here for about 3 to 4 weeks maybe a little more, so i'm not sure if its possible for it to be a swollen hair follicle, is this still a possibility?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms it looks like a sebaceous cyst. They may occur anywhere on body but scalp, ears, back, face, and upper arm, are common sites for sebaceous cysts. Blocked sebaceous glands, swollen hair follicles and excessive testosterone production will cause such cysts.

Generally no treatment is required but they become painful then it means they are infected,Then surgical excision by traditional wide excision, minimal excision, and punch biopsy excision may be required.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Antibiotics, if it is just a folliculitis.Removal of the cyst with the wall by the doc, if confirmed as sebaceous cyst,.A molluscum contagiosum is a look alike in this location.Do consult your doc.
