bumps/blister on palms/fingers

Doc,
I have benn getting small red blisters/ bumps on my fingers and palms of both hands for about 8 years now. I am 36y/o. They come and go periodically out of nowhere. They are about the size of a pen tip. They do not pop. They do not itch. They do hurt when pushed on directly. They can last anywhere from 2-3 days to 3-4 weeks. I may get one or two and the  a wekk later get more each time on the left or right hand. could this be Herpes? Does Herpes appear in exactly the same place each time? Can it appear on both hand in various places? I have looked up things, and phompholyx looks similar, but mine does not itch at all!!!!! What could this be. I am paranoid of the whole herpes thing! I have no other symptoms elsewhere.

my left hand. this started about a month ago. it is very difficult to get
an appointment with my dermatologist even a cancellation but I am
concerned because now the movement of my finger is noticably affected.
Can a General Practitioner help me with this is it is much easier for me
to ask advice this way,

I don't think it is hyperkeratosis orcorns, calluses, warts. Can Herpes appear only on the hands in various places? Is Pompholyx always itchy? The bumps are red and may appear one at a time. If a tiny blister appears then it looks clear and it never pops. It will hurt with direct pressure, but otherwise I am only aware of thm if I bump them? any other ideas?

Hi,

There are a number of possibilities here. This may be some kind of corns, or calluses or warts (Verruca plana) or simply hyperkeratosis. i understand that you may not get these terms easily, however, it is important that you consult your doctor about these and perhaps get some treatment. There are various modalities available and you would be able to get help.

I have tried to help you and I hope that you would be able to do your part of the bargain and tell me if this was helpful and how your health is in the future.

Please also let me know if there are any other queries that you may have.

Best regards.
