bumps on BF's penis

Well i noticed a small bump on my boyfriend about a year ago. Now he has four little bumps on his shaft. They dont look "nasty" just weird. the first bump i noticed got a little bigger it looks like a little ball (thats what the others look like). He says they don't hurt or cause any discomfort during sex or when he is urinating, they are just there. He's had them for almost nine months and he says they don't hurt. But he's had them for a some time now and they don't seem to go away. I'm really worried, but he is too embarrased and scared to go see a doc. and I don't know what to do PLEASE HELP.!!!!!

Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but it can be contact dermatitis, rash due to friction rub, folliculitis, cysts ,molluscum contagiosum(multiple, small, dome-shaped papules, often with a central depression or plug) or genital warts(caused by HPV infection).

Apply warm compresses, Neosporin ointment and calamine lotion and avoid messing with it. He can take anti-inflammatory pain killers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If the lumps persist then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.
