bumps on and near glans(glands)

Greetings-

For approximately 4 weeks I have endured a number of small bumps: one cluster of 8 or 9 on the outer edge of the glans (glands), a cluster of of 4 or 5 smaller ones on the circumsized foreskin, and one small bump on a remote edge of the glans (glands).  These bumps are non-dry, slightly red and if aggravated by friction, shiny.  They do not seem to be cyst-like.  They are not painful, but if aggravated by friction the large cluster becomes sensitive.  They have appeared to diminish several weeks ago but returned to "normal".

I am concerned that these may be warts via HPV, but my research of the matter would place the chances of this as very slim.  I have had 3 partners in my lifetime, and only one sexual partner in the last 5 years, and she has received multiple clean pap tests as part of her regular examinations with no abnormalities or other conditions present.  I have swabbed my affected area with white vinegar in attempts to see if the litmus-like conditions showed anything turning white, but nothing appeared to happen, though I am aware that I may have done something incorrectly/am not a professional/etc.

My partner and I do have protected sex without a condom.  We have discussed our monogamy and I do trust her confidence.

Warts are unlikely, since these seem to have appeared rather suddenly and affect the glans (glands), which warts typically don't.  That's a generalization, though, and proper diagnosis requires visual inspection.  If friction caused them (and it well may have), they ought to go away on 2-3 weeks if you leave them alone, lubricate well during sex, and so forth.  If they're still there, I think you should consider spending the cost of the single visit it will take to set you straight.
