Hair follicle sebaceous gland associated with them and they do not look like a bacterially infected pustule. My last response i was worried about herpes but you said that this could not be so becuase it was not characteristic of herpes. Why is this so? Also in association with the bumps on my buttock area i recently went to the doctor and was given medication for nasal oral dermititis (given doxycycline to take). Also along with the bumps on the buttocks i also have a burning and itching sensation that has occured in the vaginal area for the past four months as well(not beside the bumps, those are located on the buttocks.
My questions to you are:
1)What are these bumps, becuase they do not seem like folliculitis to me?
2) Why have i had the nasal oral dermitis during the same time period (for the past four months)
3) What is the burning and itching sensation around the vagina area? is it associated with the bumps? (i have been tested for the common pap smear STD's and was negative, also yeast medications like monostat do not work)
4) WHy are these bumps not characteristic of herpes?
5)Searching the internet has made me very worried sick becuase i am a med student and i have found that HIV infection can cause persistent vaginitis, dermitis and other things. Should i be worried about this i am too embarrased to get an HIV test becuase i am a med student i think that i over react to learning about diseases and self diagnosing. I frequently get oral herpes however i have only had one in the past four months and i thought that HIV was associated with persistent herpes infection WHat ulse could be causing these things to occur togother?
Can you please help me with these 5 questions becuase i am completely worried. Thanks
