bumps on pubic area: mulloscum warts or pubic lice?

bumps on pubic area: mulloscum warts or pubic lice?

Okay so i have these small little white bumps all over my pubic area and they have some redness around them.  I shaved all my hair down there and have been treating it with alcohol and triple antibiotic ointment but that hasnt seemed to be helping too much.  They don't really bother me except when i put the alcohol on them, then it burns. Now I dont know if it's burning because of the freshly shaved skin or because they are burning, all i know is that when i treat it with alcohol it burns.

I haven't been sexually active in over 2 months because my girlfriend lives very far away from me and we haven't been able to see each other all summer.  Besides my girlfriend i have not had any sexual partners.

When I pick the small bumps some of the larger ones bleed profusely and i have a small white head in my nail.  They most resemble an acne break out, but i've never had one so severe; especially in this area.  Recently i picked one of the heads off and it is burning a bit, but when i squeeze them there is no ***** discharge which does not make them similar to acne.

The only 2 things I have brought it down to are Pubic Lice and Mulloscum Warts.
Problem with lice: I see no moving organisms with the lice and have not been sexually active for quite some time.  Problem with warts: Such a ferocious outburst, within 2 days there are nearly 30 bumps on my pubic area and some near my belly button, I think is a bit unheard of with mulloscum warts.

If anybody can help at all this would be greatly appreciated thanks. (At least give me some kind of treatment options if nothing else, idk if alcohol and triple antibiotic ointment are good i just used that because i wanted to kill what was there and prevent infection, thanks!)

Hello,
Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but it can be contact dermatitis, rash due to friction rub, folliculitis, cysts ,molluscum contagiosum(multiple, small, dome-shaped papules, often with a central depression or plug) or genital warts(caused by HPV infection).

Apply warm compresses, Neosporin ointment and calamine lotion and avoid messing with it. You  can take anti-inflammatory pain killers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If the lumps persist then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
