bumps on shaft of penis and fever

I also have a lot of cyst like bumps under the shaft of my penis. After sex one or two of them have become irritated. they almost look like pimps. I am also concerned  because I took my temperature and have a fever of 99.

Hi

Do you still have the fever?

If the fever is persistent then you may need a urinalysis and you may need to have the skin  assessed. I suggest that you just continue to observe the skin condition. This may not be something that you should be worried about. If fever is still present and if the bumps appear to increase in numbers and size, then you may need to have this assessed by your doctor .You may need oral antibiotics for this.

Hi

I suggest that you have this assessed by your physician.

Is the affected area painful?

Any penile discharge or discharge from the bumps?

If a discharge is present then a culture of the discharge may be done to help guide treatment. It is best to have this evaluated early on . Folliculitis and STD's have to be ruled out. I do not want to worry you but in the presence of a significant sexual history then sexually transmitted infections have to be considered.
