burn like filmy skin on leg

burn like filmy skin on leg

Hi, Recently I noticed a tiny dime sized mark on my leg that was very swollen. I poked at it, and it started goozing out as if it was a burn. I don't remember getting a burn there at all but after seeing the burn like goo I figured I might have. I put a bandaid on it for a few days since it kept popping back open through my jeans and after it started to scab I took the bandaid off. 2 days ago, I noticed a small mesquito like bump next to it. I itched it and it popped the same goo. I figured maybe it was a part that didn't heal. Now the filmy post burn like skin seems to be expanding out from it. I don't know what this is or means. when I say filmy; I mean the top layer of my skin has become very film like and thin; much like after a burn once the skin starts to boil and heal. it looks slightly pink under that area like it's about to do the same thing. When I touch the bone in the middle of my leg on the other side of the scab it feels very bruised. I'm not sure if i'm paranoid, if i'm just injured, if it's a bug bite, if I need to get it checked out or what. I don't have insurance, and I'm behind in major bills so I don't have the time to pay 40$ to go to a doctor just so they can speculate at the problem.

I showed the burn to my co-workers. One of them said it looked like a burn, the other one said it looked like an infection. So I guess there's a possibility it is an infected burn? If so how would I treat that? again, I really dont have the money to get it checked out. I put hydrogen peroxide on it, but im not sure how good of an idea that was since the skin is still healing back. It's itching horrible after that, so I guess it may very well be infected.
