burning

i shaved my shaft and base around the top of my scrotum with my girlfriends shaver on the 7th of this month. we then went out for drinks came back had sex. i now have like 6 red bump, blister things not really clumped together but in the general vacinity only on one side of my scrotum area ans base of my shaft noticed around the 16th of this month. it feels like pins and needles no itching. i tried to pop one but it turnrd red but didn't puss or bleed out, alcohol prep made it burn more, they seemed to get aggrivated in the shower with axe body wash, but they calm down with cortizone 10 after a little burning while applying and a little after, when i lay on my stomach they burn when you push on them they burn or feel like pins and needles. they are mainly red but have like a yellowish cover over them. they really haven't changed over the last 3-4 days since they appeared.  she has a cat could they be flea bites, i did spend the night over there on the 14th? what do i do?

Don't pop them, apply bacitracin or neosporin ointment (no prescription needed), and show them to a doctor if they haven't gone away in 2-3 weeks.  They're probably blocked pores or ingrown hairs.  The pins and needles sensation comes most probably from a combination of inflammation and worry.

Never shave, it is torture, especially if you are "hairy" because shaving puts a sharp edge on the folicle, and actually makes it grow in HEAVIER rather than less!  If you want it really smooth, you should consider professional waxing.  They have specialists for this area, women get brazilian waxings, to avoid that stubbley,sharp regrowth and to actually pull the hair from the "roots" vs. just cutting it off at the surface.  Many woman complain about these bumps, which actually are "ingrown" hairs.  When you shave, the razor not only cuts the hair, it also takes a bit of surface skin.  The skin regenerates quicker than the hair and forms a little shield over the hair, then the hair cannot "GET OUT" and starts to form a painful "pimple" looking bump, although, there is no "puss" there is HAIR trying to grow out, but the skin won't let it.  Now that is just one hair, imagine the size of the pubic area you shaved, and realize, how freaked out the hairs are, about not getting thru the skin, they cause major irritaion.  I will tell you-do not use any perfumed body wash, use DOVE soap, and apply REAL aloe vera from the Health food store.  Good luck, trust me, been there done that. Not that is really matters-because everyone is into the "no hair" thing, but I will tell you that the hair is really there for a reason.  Also, I would like to know what the little symbol is in between your pins "§" needles...I have not seen that on a keyboard before?

Ive had similiar one appear on my upper lip. At one time, a very small red bump appeared on the left side of my upper lip and then when it went away, another one popped up on the opposite side. I  went to the doctor and he said that it was a clogged oil gland.
Ive applied some hydrocortisone to it and it hasnt helped much yet. It sort of burns a little sometimes- like a chapped lip, but isnt really painful or itchy at all.
I do shave with a blade at least every other day...maybe that has anything to do with it, or should I go get tested?
