Hi,

Are there other symptoms present? This could be due to dog mites or fleas. Try to avoid sleeping with them especially if they are also having the same symptoms of itching and discomfort. Some types of dog mites can be transmitted to humans.  If present in your dogs, have them seen by veterinarian for treatment. In your case, cold packs and antihistamine medication may help with the itching especially when taken at night. Try to avoid scratching to prevent secondary infection. If it persists, have this evaluated by your doctor for proper management. Take care and keep us posted.
