. i'm 22 years old. i was about 8 or 9 when i got chicken pox and i still have the scars til this day. i've tried all kinds of cream to help with the scars but nothing have worked. i went to a cosmetics surgery place but because of my skin tone things like the chemical peel and microdermabrasion wouldn' t work for me can anybody tell me what to do PLEASE!!
Hello,
Chicken pox scars are very tough to treat. Apply hydroquinone cream or creams containing vitamin E on the scars and it should go away in a few days to months. If it still persists then you can go in for laser treatment, photodermabrasion or microdermabrasion. Avoid picking, harsh scrubbing, and abrasive treatments unless prescribed by a dermatologist during this period.
Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts.Kind regards.
