chronic jock itch

by alexende, Sep 26, 2008 01:52PM
I have the same exact problem ever since i've moved to florida.  It is chronic and seems to be untreatable.  as you said - my dermatologist treated it with yeast medication - cortizone creams - various creams w steroids - which all work temporarily - but inevitably the itch/rash returns.  if anyone out there has any suggestions how to stop this terrible affliction please do let me know.  I believe it has to do with the humidity of FL - as when i lived in CO - I would get small outbreaks - that would last for a week maximum - usually after being in a wet bathing suit or something along those lines.  in FL - it just stays there all the time.
