Change your laundry detergent (use no softeners, either). Use something that is for "babies" laundry. Do not use harsh detergents. Go to Ivory soap but only use the soap underarms and places like that...get the point? Just rinse with water in other areas. Re-wash all your clothes in the new detergent and use no softeners. Then see if this eleviates the problem. Goddluck! psalmsong
I have that problem right now. My doctor said it was winter itch. He said not to wear polyester, wool, or acrylic.
I've been using medicated Aveno lotion which helps. Stick with cotton clothing for now.
Anyone out there that has had the same problem with
the clothing sensitivity?
You haven't given me enough information to do more than guess. If you can control the itch with cream (I assume this means cream you get in the drugstore), then it's probably from dry winter skin. For proper diagnosis, you will need to see a doctor in person, who can tell you what it is, whether it can be "cured," or at least helped, and so forth.
Best.
