coldsore, when can i kiss again?

Hi, I got a coldsore last Sunday (well it was the tingling stage at least), it is now late Monday night (so 8-9 days later) the crust has come off so the skin now seems normal, just feels a bit tender and red.  I had a date last week but posponed it because of the coldsore, so its been rescheduled for tomorrow, is it totally fine to kiss him tomorrow then? I would not want to infect him, so would wait longer if neccessary. The date is in about 16 hours so if you could reply before then that would be excellent!!
