confused about mole i had removed

i had a mole that developed at a young age and grew very quickly to full size (about the size of a pencil eraser, raised, very very dark brown) when i was little and stayed at that size until i had it removed by electro cautery. when the scab fell off, my skin was white and flat. however, the whole thing wasn't removed because it grew back (MUCH MUCH SMALLER, maybe like 1/5th the size of the original, with an extremely light brown surrounding it (so light that it pretty much looked skin color unless you scrutinized it with a magnified mirror) but still grew back slightly raised (though less raised than before). three weeks ago, i had the brown little mole removed again by electro cautery.  however, when the scab fell off this time, the skin stayed raised, and it is still red/pink now even though it's been weeks.  i can also still see a tiny speck of the pigment still left.  why is it still raised this time, when last time my skin was flat after the scab fell off? also why is my skin still red, whereas last time it was white when the scab fell off? will this redness go away? will the raised mole/scar/i dont know become flat eventually? and will the mole grow back? it's the second time getting it removed and last time it did grow back much smaller... so is there a chance it will just stay as the tiny tiny TINY speck that it is right now? and if it does grow back it won't come back bigger will it? answers please!

Hello,
After removal of the mole, it may be that it becomes flat and remains confined to the surface or it may show changes after removal. What happens is that melanocytes left behind in the wound regrow in an abnormal pattern. This is accompanied by scarring, inflammation, and blood vessel changes and hence it may be darker, raised or lighter than the original mole.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
