confused?

My son has a cluster of tiny bubble like things on his chin and side of his mouth. The dermatologist gave him cutivate for that and another issue on his face but it's not working for the chin thing. There are no whiteheads so I don't think it's any kind of acne. Any suggestion....they seem to bother me way more than they bother him.

Hello,
You have not mentioned the age of your son but it can be molluscum contagiosum or bullous staph infection. Molluscum contagiosum is a common, benign, self limiting viral infection of the skin. It generally affects children and typically occurs in the 2-5 age group and presents as multiple, small, dome-shaped papules, often with a central depression or plug. Treatment includes physical destruction or manual extrusion of the lesions, cryotherapy, and curettage.

If the symptoms still persist then please consult a dermatologist and get these possibilities ruled out.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
