cortison injections

Good evening,
I'm writing from Italy.
Three weeks ago I went to a doctor to have botox injections in my forehead.
In the following days I had no results. I called the doctor, he replyed me that he was using a new botulin containing cortison, that it was the first time he was using it and that the new patients treated with it didn't get any results. So he proposed to make it again wiht the old product he used to use and that worked well.
After 14 days, I began to notice some holes in my forehead wher the injections were made. I went to a dermatologist and he told me that the holes are skin atrophy and that they will be permanent.
I would like to know if there is something I can do to recover.
The holes are really big and I would like to know if it is possible to fill them with fillers and if I have to wait sometime before doing it. Four weeks passed from the injections and the situation is even worse, now I have some evident veins in the side of the forehead aside from the holes.
I would appreciate very much your help.
Thank you

Thank you very much for your help. I will look around to see if I can find a doctor who can deal with laser resurfacing. Now the dents aren't worsening anymore, but I'm not improving at all.
I red on the web about saline injections to recover from steroid induced cutaneal atrophy, but I don't know if there could be any side effect, since I had also botulin injections after the cortisone ones.
Thank you again for your suggestions, I will definetely look aroud for this kind of laser teraphy.
Best regards

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It looks like an atrophic scar. They form a depression or sunken area because of damage to the collagen, fat or other tissues below the skin. In such scars, apart from plastic surgery, laser resurfacing is also helpful. They can be safely and effectively resurfaced through the proper use of a high-energy, pulsed or scanned carbon dioxide (CO2) or Erbium-Yttrium-Aluminum-Garnet (Er:YAG) laser.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
