could use some answers about shingles

Is it normal to feel sick with shingles? I been  nausea, feeling sweaty at times chills on and of few times and loss of appetite I was told shingles and been on vertex antiviral for 6 days now, it is on my scalp and around my ear, still feel some of the pain and burning at times.

Ok I see and thank you, I also have a post about a patch on my husband chest going on three years can you please look at the pictures of it and give me yore input on it also, I uploaded it to my  profile to. I put that post in skin cancer section SW but the post can be found on my profile.

In case of any viral rash sometimes bacterial superinfection takes place and can cause fever along with infection of draining nodes.
As for me I am a student or a professor of dermatology, if you please.That is meaning even a professor is always learning.

what is lymp. You are talking about and I don't know of a second bacterial infection going on, have you had this or are you a doctor or nurse? Just curious

It is quite possible, especially if there is secondary bacterial infection, and consequent lymphadenopathy.
