It's been an ongoing problem I've had for more or less 5 months. It started pretty mild but has become extremely frustrating. My foreskin originally had tightened a little. Within a week or so, it was ok, but some cuts
healed, there was a ring of skin that had lost it's elasticity. Since then, I have either not been able to retract my foreskin or it has been extremely difficult. I have seen my GP and he said that circumcision might be the only way to go. I have an appointment with a urologist to see what other options I have. I believe it to me a balanitis. My frenulum also has either a cut
or a wound and has become hardened. Please if anyone has any advice on how I can regain elasticity or at least regain the ability to retract my foreskin I would appreciate it a lot! I do not want a circumcision if I don't absolutely need one. Although, not being able to have any penetration sex
Hello,
It looks like the difficulty in retraction is due to formation of the scar tissue and adhesions. Treatment includes application of a steroid cream or Vit E to the foreskin up to three times a day for about a month to loosen the adhesive ring. If ballooning during micturition is present, then surgical removal of all or part of the foreskin (circumcision) may be recommended.
I hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
