cutting out ilven

i suffer from ilven (inflammatory linear verrucous epidermal naevus) on my right buttock and im wondering if it can be surgically cut out. this is so frustrating
the widest part of it is about 2 inches. and it stretches to about 6 inches.
it gets thinner and thinner as it goes down.
has anyone had this done before?
