cyst scab has tiny hair emerging?

i discovered a few tiny, hard white dots on the shaft penis, so i went to the dermatologist and he told me they were cysts....over the last few days one of them has rubbed off due to friction and its formed a tiny scab that appears to have a small thick hair emerging from it....is this normal? thank you

The symptoms are suggestive of folliculitis and cysts. Please keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.
