Hi dear

Using a medicated shampoo helps to control dandruff. The active ingredients in these shampoos include salicylic acid, ketoconazole, or selenium. These shampoos are freely available over-the-counter.

Steps in using the shampoo

Apply the shampoo to a small part of the affected area and massage gently, shampoo vigorously, use the fingers to loosen scales. Please scrub for a minimum of 5 minutes, and rinse well

Some useful home remedies for dandruff include the use of a tespspoonful of fresh lime while rinsing the hair, use of fenugreek seeds, and white beet.

Best..
