dark brown spots on shaft of penis

by student541, Nov 03, 2009 07:32PM
I'm 15, never been sexually active and i have this dark brown spots on the shaft of my penis, there isn't very many , about 1 big one and a couple small ones. I'm concerned to what these are since Ive never been sexually active... also i think that i may have genital warts 2 big ones, on the shaft of my penis, they have been there for about 2 years and i never touched them cause i thought they would go away but finally one day i had enough and i researched home remedies to get rid of them and i came across ACV which didn't completely remove them there is still a bump there and it still looks like they are there except a lot smaller. I'm VERY confused on how i got these at the age of 12? when i have NEVER been sexually active. With these i cant have a relationship with anyone because i am to afraid they will find out about these, i would really like to know how i got these warts? and what these dark brown spots are and it looks like a i have pearly penile papules around the rim of my penis head.

To: student541,
Hello,
These brown spots can be freckles, lentigo or Fordyce spots. Fordyce spots are small, painless, spots or bumps that may appear on the shaft of the penis. The spots are a form of ectopic sebaceous gland and are not known to be associated with any disease. The bumps that you are calling warts can be seborrheic keratosis which are benign growths on the skin. My sincere advice is to consult a dermatologist and get the diagnosis confirmed as without examination confirmation of a diagnosis is tough.
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing. Take care and regards.
