dark patches around neck and shaving area

hi,
my neck and the shaving area seems to be more darker than the rest of my body.there is a lot of difference in colour tone among these areas .Sometimes even my face gives different shades . i have suffered embarresment due to this many a times .
please suggest some quick remedy to this ,i will be very thankfull to you.

Hello,
Without examination,confirmation of a diagnosis is tough,but it can be due to hyperpigmentation of the skin. This darkening occurs when an excess of melanin, the brown pigment that produces normal skin color, forms deposits in the skin. Treatment involves hydroquinone, azelaic acid, corticosteroids, tretinoin cream and laser treatment. Pls discuss these options with your dermatologist before using them.
If the symptoms persist then pls get acanthosis nigricans and Addison’s disease ruled out.
