dark spots under site of benign mole removed
My daughter, age 22, had a supicious
mole
Birthmarks - pigmented
Gestational trophoblastic disease
Hydatidiform mole
Pth
removed/shaved from her back two months ago. Her dermatlogist said pathology reported the
mole
Birthmarks - pigmented
Gestational trophoblastic disease
Hydatidiform mole
Pth
was
benign
Benign ear cyst or tumor
Benign positional vertigo
. The tissue below, where the
mole
Birthmarks - pigmented
Gestational trophoblastic disease
Hydatidiform mole
Pth
was located, is dark and spotted.
Is this normal or should we be concerned?

Hello,
If the pathology biopsy report has come out to be
benign
Benign ear cyst or tumor
Benign positional vertigo
then it is unlikely that the biopsy report is false negative. Keep an eye on this
spot
Birthmarks - pigmented
Liver spots
Measles, koplik spots - close-up
Mongolian blue spots
. If you notice changes in the mark’s color, height, size or shape, you should have a dermatologist evaluate it. You also should have it checked if it bleeds, oozes, itches, appear scaly, or become tender or painful.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
