my underarms are very dark, its very noticable. I wont wear sleeveless shirts because of this. I have always had it. A doctor told me it was from shaving too much, but again, it was always there. And I even tried shaving my underarms as littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys as possible to see if it would fade. As long as I go without shaving, it does not fade at all. Can anyone tell me what this is or how I can get my underarm skin to their normalNormal saline flushcolorColor blindness Color blindness tests Color vision test?
Treatment involves hydroquinone, azelaic acid, corticosteroids, tretinoin cream and laser treatment. Pls discuss these options with your dermatologist before using them.
Hope it helps. Take care and regards.
Normally there is darkening of the skin where sweat or moisture is trapped for a long time, underarms being one of them. The other possibility is of hyperpigmentation skin or acanthosis nigricans. Hyperpigmentation occurs when an excess of melanin, the brown pigment that produces normal skin color, forms deposits in the skin.
