discoloration

i found a black line of some short in the middle of my vagina it has just appeared in the last week or so.
its small dots and lines together looking like dirt or a bruise. it doesnt hurt or itch at all.
i am in my early twenties and sexually active but i have been tested in the last year and it was not abnormal.
this "line" is located on the inner pink skin above the clitoris and extends to the top of the inside of the vagina.
any ideas on what this may be?

You do not present with any symptoms. This dark line may be a traumatized vein or a bruise if prior trauma has been experienced. In the absence of pain, itchiness, scaling and vaginal discharge ,this may not be something that you should be worried about. If the discoloration spreads or if a swelling is present, then a gynecologic consult is necessary.
A this point, there seems to be no urgent need for intervention.
