do I have a penile yeast infection or an STD?

do I have a penile yeast infection or an STD?

About a month ago my girlfriend told me right after we had unprotected sex (not the first time, but the first time was just weeks before this) that when she urinated it burned and she said she probably had a yeast infection. The next day when I went pee about 5 seconds after I finished urinating the tip of my penis (but on the inside) started to lightly burn for like 15 seconds.

This has been happening ever since for the past month, and has been accompanied with a slightly redish/itchy scrotum and itchy penis head and sometimes if I'm sitting for too long at my computer chair and if I lean forwards I feel the burn in the tip of my penis a litte. I now also have some redness around the bottom of the head of my penis and some little "bumps" I'm thinking that I either have a yeast infection, urinary tract infection, herpes, or some other type of STD. I have gone pee maybe a few times where it didn't burn after...but it usually always does either towards the end of when im peeing or a few seconds after I'm done. I'm only 17 and too nervous and shy to tell my mom or see a doctor. Please let me know what you think it is! thanks.

Hello,

Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but it can be contact dermatitis, rash due to friction rub with clothes, dermatitis (atopic, contact, allergic),excessive sweating causing sweat dermatitis,UTI or balanitis(due to an underlying infection (bacterial and fungal as well as other organisms) .Even STD’s cannot be ruled out as it is spread through direct skin-to-skin contact during oral, genital, or anal sex with an infected partner.

You may try calamine lotion on the rash. You should also maintain hygiene and try to keep the area clean and dry, wear loose-fitting cotton clothing. Also use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove.Avoid any kind of cosmetics. You can also use calamine lotion or a mild steroid cream like dermacort on the rash. Also get a urine culture and swab culture done.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.
