do I have warts????

by retusi, Aug 20, 2003 12:00AM
Hi doc,

I have been going out with my girlfriend for more than three years. We have been faithful to each other and have started to have unprotected sex since almost a year ago. Anyways, I started shaving down there almost a few months ago and I noticed that I have some light brown spots on the bottom of the (1) ]shaft of my penis and on my (2) testicles. this light brown color is like the color of the scar one has if you have a circumsized penis. anyway, I think its from shaving because I did not see them before I shaved. the first mark is under my penis shaft say... 3/4 and its light brown and when I stretch my skin, obviously it expands as well. and the other two are closer to my testicles and are small and round. the one on the shaft is bigger. when I stretch it its around 1/2 cm, it looks more like little brown dots in groups and they are flat, it does not look like anything I have seen in genital wart sites. I am freaking out and keep going to the bathroom to check on them. I am worried I might have warts.

Thank you

I agree that these do not sound at all like warts.  They may be pigmented spots left over from shaving irritation.

So that you don't obsess about them, you ought to consult a doctor familair with STD's to examine you and set your mind at ease.

You'll be fine.

Take care.
