Hi,
It is difficult to differentiate between a dry scalp and dandruffDandruff control Seborrheic dermatitis. But both are very different. DandruffDandruff control Seborrheic dermatitis is in fact associated with an oily scalp and is due to shedding of dead skin cells off the scalp.
Get yourself examined by a dermatologist and then a diagnosis would be obtained. Also the management differs in both cases accordingly.
DandruffDandruff control Seborrheic dermatitis would need medicated shampoos and topical application creams and you need to keep your head and scalp clean.
Dryness would need a conditioner, adequate hydration etc.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
