dyshidrotic eczema

Have been diagnosed with Dyshidrotic eczema.    I have gone through two cycles of prednisone, which clears everything up then within a week of stopping prednisone feet and hands erupt again. Just finished a 2 week series of the prednisone, everything looked great and then the soles of my feet erupted badly , the palms of my hands aren't so bad at the moment.     I have been reading medical journals and ran across "dermatophytid".   I am wondering if I have a fungus on my feet (though my dermatologist says no) and it is making other areas react.   Is this a possibility?  I also break out in little spots all over my body, which I can control with betamethsone dipropionate ointment which my dermatologist prescribed.  Help !!  I'm slowly becoming a nervous wreck !
