eczema/handfoot&mouth

by HeatherMeahger, Aug 28, 2008 04:07PM
My 19 month old has eczema.  Recently she developed blisters on the eczema and additional blisters on her arms and feet.  She did not seem to run a fever or be bothered by them.  The pediatrician said that it looked like poison ivy, but then thought that it was a secondary rash to her eczema and gave her an antibiotic.  The next day her 5 month old brother was running a fever so I took him in.  He saw a different practioner and she diagnosed him with hand foot and mouth.  I am wondering if my daughter may have the same thing eventhough the rash is on her limbs??
