electrolysis scarring

i've suddenly had an increase in lip hair growth either because of hormones or stress. I 've had three sessions of electrolysis but not sure if it has scarred. I have a 3/4 pin ***** holes, one very red/black small spot and some very small red dots and some red patches and swollen upper lip. I understand some things are normal but have I used a bad electrolygist?
