everlasting bites, going insane!!!!!

PLEASE HELP... I've been getting these bites now for over a year and I'm almost driving myself mad not knowing what they are and where there coming from. When I first started to get them they were up to an inch in width and I know they are bites as they always have a head!!! At first they would swell and always itch, after a few days the swelling would go down and i would be left with a bite mark! Once it got so bad I had twelve on the top half of my arm and they were absolutely massive, you could barely see my skin! Anyway after trying to take as much note as possible as to when I was getting them and the location. I then had the pest control at my house where I've live for nearly 2 years as I was convinced I must have bed bugs or it was an issue at my workplace. They examined the place and ruled out everything. My next approach was to my company, so gave them a list of all the times and dates I had recieved these bites and convinced them to get the pest control who also said our office was fine! The worst thing is i am a very clean person and am constantlty removing dust and bleaching/ disinfectant my house constantly! I have been doing research on this for such a long time there is clearly an epedemic in this country and everybody should be entitled to find out what  is going on to them! I've been visiting the doctors and been reffered to dermatologists who dont seem to have a clue what it is! Its not rocket science to see they are bites as they have heads and sometimes they are multiple and so close together they swell badly andf I'm exteremely concious of them! It's not just having a visual effect, but mental and who can really help me? We have to relly on websites like yourselves for suggestions but we dont pay you our taxes!!!!!
