eye lashes fall out

by pstewart, Apr 11, 2007 12:00AM
I have read where several other women have had the same problem as i do re: eyelashes falling out.  I will tell you my experience.  I had CK surgery on my eyes(would not recommend this to anyone)  It sounded so great just throw away the aggravating glasses.  Well my far-sided is now gone, but I now  have astigmatism. I have horrible problems with dry eyes, since the surgery.  I use Restesis drops twice a day, plus some pills for dry eyes and over the counter drops. My eyelashes started to fall out in clumps, they come back and fall out again. I have been told it could be to trauma to my eyes from the surgery, I do take synthroid, and I am under a lot of stress.  If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

I don't think this will help you very much, but I have an allergy to a lot of mascaras and mine fall out. They will grow back slowly.

If you are allergic to a lot of mascaras which make them fall out, have you found anything else you can use to accentuate your lashes that won't be harmful to them?
