facial redness

by Shawn, Dec 22, 2000 12:00AM

I have facial redness caused by tiny veins in my cheekbones/temples/nose. I had acne on the forehead but an antibiotic cream helped with that. this cream SEEMS to be helping the overall redness but not too much. my question is if laser surgery would remove the redness in my cheeks and temples.

Shawn:

Lasers are pretty much your only option.  They're quite safe, and quite effective at minimizing small veins.  It may take 2 or 3 session,s but the procedure isn't painful and there's not much aftermath.  I'd advise that you find a doctor who's experienced at lasering faces and set up a consultation appointment.

Best.

I think i might be having the same problem, however the redness I experience is under and around my nose.  It is dry and red.  I can almost see little veins, but the redness is the worst. Do I have the same thing as this person, or is mine something differnt? I have tried everything, no skin care products seem to help, they only irritate the dry, red skin around my nose even more.  I need some serious advice.
