flat warts and tagament

by Kellie37, Oct 08, 2008 09:14PM
I am writing because my daughter had flat warts on her forehead and the started spreading to cheeks.  They were also on her hands[mainly her left hand] and started going up her arm. Her pediatrician put her on tagament to see if it would help.  She was only about three at the time. It didn't seem to help at first but we continued it off and on. It was in liquid form and she hated it! We tried cream after cream with no luck. We tried dermatologists with no luck. I talked to a pharmacist that I know in tears one day because I was at my wits ends.  He told me that the dose of tagament was not large enough to kill the virus.  I immediately  increased her dose to 600mg a day and within three weeks the warts were gone!!!!  I continued the dose for three months to make sure the virus was gone.  She is now 8 years old and so far so good!!!
