follow up questions to 'Is it a wart?'

Hey Doc, me again. I just have a few more follow up questions.  

1) If a man receives oral sex from a woman with genital warts, but has no genital contact with the woman is it still possible for her to give him warts?

2)Another transmission question.  If the tiny bump under the head of my penis does turn out to be warts, is it possible for me to transmit HPV to my baby from kisses?

3)If I do have HPV and my wife and I have another baby and she still shows no symptoms, how likely is transmission to the baby.

     I guess the gist of my questioning is HPV transferable through all bodily fluids or just by contact with the warts?  I realize these may be somewhat silly questions, but Im just trying to gain as much info as possible.
     Im making an appointment to see a dermatologist, but from the other postings there seem to be a number of doctors out there who simply like to generalize all genital anomolies as warts.  As I mentioned in my previous question my general pract did not believe it to be a wart.  How is it possible to make a clear diagnosis?

Yes, but unlikely.

Minimal.

I agree with you that some doctors make the diagnosis of warts even when they're not sure without considering what effect that diagnosis will have on the patient.

At times clinical certainty is hard to come by.  Specific answers to your questions about likelihood of transmission are simply not available, so you will need to live with a degree of uncertainty, as we all do.  I will say, however, as someone who sees dozens of warts every day of his clinical life, that as a practical matter, people simply do not transmit warts all over their families or themselves, regardless of whether the warts are genital.  Even if you have warts--and that's not at all clear--you are not contaminated and you need to find a way to stop thinking of yourself that way.  Get whatever reassurance you need to achieve this.

My boyfriend has really small wite bumps underneth the skin of his penis right under the rim of the head i need to know if this could possible be a wart? or just an infection from not good cleaning?

Hi Doctor,

I just have a quick question.  In this thread, the person asks that if he receives oral sex from a person that has genital warts but has no genital contact, can they recieve genital warts and you say "yes, but unlikely".  I asked the same question on the STD forum of Dr. HHH and was told that "no, you cannot pass your genital infection orally".  I guess I'm just a little confused and was wondering if you could clarity.
