Hello,
The best way to prevent milia is to avoid treating your skin with excessively harsh chemicals and to limit sun exposure. Apply mild soaps like dove or baby soaps and if the symptoms persist then get an evaluation done from a dermatologist.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

Hi,
It can be due to milia or a sebaceous cyst. Milia are common in children and are white pimples that occur mostly on the upper cheeks, nose and chin. A sebaceous cyst is a closed sac occurring just under the skin which contains a "pasty" or "cheesy" looking substance called keratin.

To confirm the diagnosis, I suggest you to get an evaluation done from a dermatologist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
