Hi I am a 20 yr old female who also has fordyce spots. when I first noticed them I was very afraid and embarrassed. Then I found out what they were and was just relieved they weren't an STD. If ur worried about dating or sex, don't be. They are not as noticable to someone else as they are to you yourself.

Hello,
Fordyce spots can be present on both male and female genitalia. They are small, painless, raised, pale or white spots or bumps 1 to 3 mm in diameter that may appear on the labia. The spots are a form of ectopic sebaceous gland, and are not known to be associated with any disease or illness and are of cosmetic concern only. They are non-infectious and a natural occurrence on the body.

I hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.Kind regards.

well,my earlier reply was rather hurried.Fordyce spots are from apocrine glands which secrete the odor. They dont cause any harm.Nothing needs to be done.
