freckles on feet

hey over the last 3-45 months I have noticed the rising number of freckle like marks on the tops of my feet.  I also have afew red marks on my feet aswell but they do not itch or hurt in anyway.

What I was wondering was are these freckles? if not what could it be?

any info is very much appreciated.

Hi,
Have your feet been exposed more to the sun in the past few months becuse  they develop randomly on the skin, especially after repeated exposure to sunlight.
Having freckles is based on one's genetic predisposition. They are not a skin disorder. People with freckles usually have a lower concentration of photoprotective melanin and are therefore more susceptible to the harmful effects of UV-radiation.

Most freckles on a person's skin are usually uniform in color. On different people, freckles may vary somewhat in color from reddish, yellow, tan, light brown, brown, or black,  but they are basically slightly darker than the surrounding skin. They tend to become darker and more apparent after sun exposure and lighten in the winter months.

You can use products containing hydroquinone and kojic acid which are skin bleaching agents. In combination with sun avoidance and sun protection these agents are the most effective treatment for freckles.
