fungus in hot tubs

Hi
my boy friend has fungus on his lower leg and i would like to know if its ok for him to go to hot tubs with me
is their going to be a problem?

Hello,

Fungal infections are very contagious and any type of physical touch with the infected skin of the person even in hot water baths increases your chances of catching the infection. Fungal infections can be passed from person to person or from objects and surfaces to a person.Even if you use the same hot tub baths,towels or even tubs that your boyfriend had used earlier,it is possible for you to get the infection.

I have an itch on my back center spine area and the same on my legs top side close to foot.I have had my hot tub for almost a year could this be from my tub?????? I hope not I was in a bad car wreck and this is the only thing that gives relief
