genital abrasion?

genital abrasion?

Recently, (in the last three months) I've noticed what I thought might be two genital warts along the circumcision scar, one on the top of the penis the other on the bottom side, near the fenulum. I've seen one doctor and one dermatologist now, both don't think the bumps are warts, they don't seem to have wart like qualities. It's been suggested that the bumps are irregularities in the skin, perhaps due to abrasion, perhaps some sort of keritization...and neither of the bumps turned white with a vinegar test. I've been told relax and stop worrying about them and go back in for a check up in a few months. Now However, the bump on the underside of the penis (which is a pretty small bump) seems to be easily irritated, it doesn't take well to a lot of friction. 1) Does the possibility of abrasion sound likely to you? what might you guess such a irregularity be? 2)Any thoughts on how this spot might be removed (a less painful solution is really desired the most) or should it be removed at all?.

There are often irregularities in skin texture at the site of surgery, such as circumcision.  I think your doctors are likely to be correct that these are not warts, whether they're from abrasion or not.  It does not seem likely that any kind of surgery is Worth considering.  I think you ought to relax and stop worrying, as directed.

Take care.
