granuloma anulare

i have been suffering from granuloma anulare for about fifteen yrs.  the past yr. or so i have one outbreak after another.  they are injecting the sites with kenolog.  after the injections , one to two days later more start appearing.  is ther an alternative and more effectual treatment available?  the dr. thinks stress brings it on so he has me on three different medications.  zoloft, wellbutrin, and seroquel at nite.  i have, in the past with this have had respites, but not anymore.  i am searching for holistic or any other things out there to try. my doctor who is new to me had never come across this before.

Granuloma annulare is not a serious condition, but it is annoying.  The cause is unknown, so we can only treat the spots themselves.  Injections of cortisone are the most effective treatment, but cannot stop new ones from coming.  I know of no systmeic treatments that are effective against new spots, either conventional or alternative.  Soem doctors have used powerful chemotherapy drugs, but that doesn't seem to me to be a good idea, given their toxicity and the fact that the condition itself doesn't threaten overall health.

so far there is nothing i know of to treat this .  i have just recently been searching the internet for answers to this problem. i found some suggestions in the forum section about apple cidar vineagar helping, something called gardeners cream, and a body cream by AROMA THERAPY.  these things were posted six yrs. ago.  im wondering if anyone is still using these things and if they are helping.  i do want to say that i noticed lately that as soon as i have an injection, new sites pop up the next day.  so i am constantly afflicted with this stuff.  i went to the health food and herbal store and they suggested oregano oil and olive leaf. it is the most vile tasting thing i have ever tried.  im going to mix it with a little juice, and im also going to start the apple cidar thing.  if anyone has any new info on this i would love to try it.  i am really sick of this.

it may be a benign condition, however they continue to grow and spread over most of my body. i have had this for about 3 yrs but within the last year they have exploded. i currently have probably 80-100 spots on my torso and exttremities, with more appearing weekly.

i was treated with pegalated/interferon for 6 months, treatment for hep c in 2002. i just wonder if that this is not a result of that drug, any known connection?
